GRAYSCALE

 We're back on the game fellas!

And guess what, it's yet another day using GIMP. As you all know we previously did a photomontage where I showed all of you how to crop images together and make it look realistic. Today's exercise is quite the change, because I'm going to teach you how to do those cool grayscale photos where a single, vibrant colour is visible.

Take as an example the picture below.


As you can see, a very beautiful picture indeed. And if you haven't guessed by now, red's the most vibrant color there is. So, we will be creating a a grayscale of the whole image, in a copy of the image. That way, we will still have the picture below with the photo's original colors.

Now, the next step ca be done by hand, or we can use the magic wand to select everything that's red, in my case I did by hand. We have to erase those parts from the grayscale image, so it will reveal the red color underneath.


Add an inspiring frase, and just like that, voila!
