PC BUILD

Image
Hello, hello! Under this post you will find a series of posts I made with a complete guide and explanation on how to build a PC. The budget for this PC would be around 900-1300€ (may vary depending on discounts, demand, shipment fees and alternative components). This guide will help you through the buying process of all the different PC parts, however, the building process may be hard to understand through text. To ensure a good installation, I'd wholeheartedly recommend TechSource's step by step guide, where he will guide you through the building process in great detail. For this build, most of our parts will come from a site called PC Components, however, a few of them will come from Amazon.  https://www.pccomponentes.com https://www.amazon.com If someone doesn't have the time, and/or doesn't want to look at the PC building guide without knowing the parts it has beforehand, you will find a message at the end of this post with a flip book I made showing all the data y

Case

Image
The first step to create our own PC is choosing our case where we will fit every part the PC will use to function. For this PC, I have chosen a beautiful and neat white case, that'll look elegant on everyone's room. Or, if you're more of a person that prefers black color schemes, there's also a black variant. -The price for the case comes out as 40,99€ at a 36% discount or, 64,48€ if you miss it.  https://www.pccomponentes.com/tempest-shade-rgb-torre-atx-blanca

SSD

Image
We've arrived to a controversial topic now. Should we use a HHD or a SSD? Some people believe HHDs are more reliable, but let me tell you, they're not. Unless you're going to barely use this PC (or you're going to use it for nothing big) then a HHD would be an okay option. Even then, I would still recommend a SSD. In terms of gaming, video editing, running programs or speed in general, the SSD comes out on top. It's more durable, makes less noise, it's more resistant and also quicker. However, it is true that HHD offer an easier way to recover your files, in case they have been damaged, and the price difference it has compared to an SSD can be seen as big. If what you're worried about is file damaging, that could be easily fixed by making a copy of your files in an external hard drive. Which you don't have to buy immediately with the PC.  For this PC, however, I have chosen to use an SSD. Since I see it as a better choice, together with a good external

CPU Cooler

Image
Let's talk now about a part of our PC that'll prevent it from exploding, literally. The CPU cooler. It is installed on the CPU and, like the name suggests, it cools it down. Since the CPU can get as blazing hot as a microwave about to explode, I figured the Nox Hummer H-212 CPU Cooler would be a great option. It's aluminum wings will help our CPU to stay cool and It'll look very elegant with the rest of our equipment.  -The price is currently 27,50€ without a discount.  https://www.pccomponentes.com/nox-hummer-h-212-cpu-cooler

SOUND UNIT

Image
Some people use wired headphones, some people don't. Some people use a wired microphone and some people don't. What matters is that you buy a sound unit according to your necessities. If you use headphones, speakers, or anything related by bluetooth or similar, then a sound unit is not needed. If you use devices that are mostly wired, then I'd suggest buying one. However, you could still buy it if you see that the sound quality you get from non-wired devices is bad, or your PC has a lot of programmes running and it makes it so that it is hard for the sound waves to reach the wireless headphones. Either way, for this PC, if you want to have a sound unit, I'd recommend the Asus Xonar SE Interno 5.1 Canales PCI-E. It's a minimalistic, small but functional sound unit that works wonders. So, if you're not a fan of wireless headphones or anything related, I'd suggest checking it out. -The price is 33,99 € with no discount whatsoever. https://www.pccomponentes.com

Graphics Card

Image
Graphics card. That one component everyone always has doubts with when choosing which one to buy. Not only because they are extremely expensive, but because there is a wide variety of brands to choose from.  Note that a graphics card isn't needed if you use your PC for simple program running or file opening, since the CPU itself can handle that. However, if you use it for gaming, video editing or animation, a graphics card is a must for your PC.  Therefore, the most optimal graphics card I could find for this PC is the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 GAMING OC 12GB GDDR6 Rev 2.0. With this graphics card, it'll run anything you put it through without issue. That way you'll never have to worry about your graphics card.  -The price is 340,99€ with it originally being 499,99€. https://www.pccomponentes.com/gigabyte-geforce-rtx-3060-gaming-oc-12gb-gddr6-rev-20?campaigntype=pmax&campaignname=pmaxOfertastop&gclid=Cj0KCQjwmvSoBhDOARIsAK6aV7gJ-ZgtElAxK7xxpBPZ1yefuJjsg9di0uVhMZ8KZ

Liquid Cooler

Image
If you use a lot of programs or leave all of your tabs open, we are going to need good quality fans that'll help your PC handle that. In a PC, air pressure should always be the same inside and outside. Or, at least, the air pressure should be positive, if it isn't and is negative, our PC will start reaching temperatures so high it'll start looking like an oven. To fix this, we have DEEPCOOL Liquid Cooler LT720 WH 360mm 4th Gen Dual-Chamber Pump 3100RPM Multidimensional AIO Cooler Anti-Leak Tech. This brand not only is good quality, but it also offers the same or even better cooling properties than fans from big brands do. Don't worry about colors, as they have both black and white, if you're looking for something more vibrant, they also have some options that are worth checking out. This is a 360mm fan, but you can get a 240mm fan instead if you don't use your PC for long periods of time, or if you don't make it run lots of programs at once. Even then, I wo

Power Supply

Image
What would a PC be without electricity? Just a mere box with some colors, but electricity it's what's going to make our PC come to life. For this, the UNYKAch Atilius RGB Power Supply 750W Efficiency 90% Full Modular White seems like the best option. It's monotone color scheme works wonders with this PC and its 750W will make our PC work without a single problem. -The price is currently 85€ with a 13% discount. The original price being 98,30€. https://www.pccomponentes.com/unykach-atilius-rgb-fuente-de-alimentacion-750w-eficiencia-90-full-modular-blanca If you want a version that is completely black, UNYKAch also has it by the same price. https://www.pccomponentes.com/unykach-atilius-rgb-fuente-de-alimentacion-750w-eficiencia-90-full-modular If you want more power, however, Forgeon has very powerful and pretty power supplies too. Likewise, they tend to be a bit more expensive. But, if you're interested, you might want to check it out. https://www.pccomponentes.com/for

RAM

Image
Now, we've come to my favourite part of the building process. Our RAM. Everyone loves installing their computer's RAM. Hearing the satisfying click it makes after it has been installed correctly and knowing it's gonna work great. For this, our go to RAM for this PC is made by DELTA, the Team Group Delta White RGB DDR4 3200 PC4-25600 16GB 2x8 CL16. It is a powerful RAM with 16GB, however, I will also link a less powerful RAM (8GB) in case someone doesn't need that much. -The 16GB RAM is 44,99€ with a 10% discount, or 49,99€ without it. https://www.pccomponentes.com/team-group-delta-white-rgb-ddr4-3200-pc4-25600-16gb-2x8gb-cl16 -The 8GB RAM is usually around 39,99€. Downside is, it is currently out of stock, but it will come back to the market in a short period of time. There are other sites where the RAM is still in stock, however,  I'd recommend you'd wait because other sites' prices tend to be quite high regarding this RAM. https://www.pccomponentes.com/tea

CPU

Image
Now, we've finally got to our CPU. A part of our PC that will make everything in our PC work. Therefore, we need a good quality CPU that will ensure our programs run without any single problem. So, the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 4.40GHz is our best candidate, I've had some experience with it, and it works wonders. Therefore, it deservers to have a spot in this PC build. -The price is currently 136,98 €  at an astonishing discount of 57%. The original price is 319 € , however, itis usually in high demand and high discounts tend to be common, so I wouldn't worry about the big number for now. https://www.pccomponentes.com/amd-ryzen-5-5600g-440ghz And, even though this CPU comes with the necessary amount of thermal paste on it. If you need more, for any reason really. Don't worry, because I will also link a thermal paste that does its job great.  -The price is only 1,29€, or 1,49€ if you miss the 13% discount.  https://www.pccomponentes.com/mars-gaming-mt0-pasta-termica

Motherboard

Image
After having our beautiful case we are going to choose our motherboard. The motherboard is one of the most important parts our PC will have, because it's where most of the other components will be installed on. So, I have chosen a very potent motherboard that I have had some experience with already. The Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite v2. This motherboard not only is durable and efficient, but it it also will make a great contrast with our previously selected white (or black) case. -The price is currently 144,99€ with a 10% discount, or 162€. https://www.pccomponentes.com/gigabyte-b550-aorus-elite-v2
